Basic Specifications

Through a FEMA grant, the Omer Arenac Fire Department was able to purchase a replacement for their 1974 pumper. Mounted on a 2 door International chassis, the aluminum body balances compartment storage with overall length, making the vehicle very maneuverable. To allow for maximum practical compartmentation, the ladders are stored on a hydraulic ladder rack over the passenger side body yet are securely locked in place for travel. All items are secured with mounting brackets and a unique cylinder storage system in installed to keep the cylinders in place during travel, yet allows them to be removed for carrying to the scene (see “below”) . The speedlays are on removable trays to assist in reloading and there is a remote controlled spotlight mounted on the roof.
