Interspiro differs from all other manufacturers in their design of their SCBA. Using a modular approach, the S4 has components that are not only easy to service but easy to upgrade. Just 4 years ago, the current SCBA being offered by Interspiro was the S1. Between product improvements and NFPA requirements, product changes were made and these changes can be implemented at any time to any “S” unit without sending it back to the factory. These upgrades can and are being done in the field in less than 45 minutes !

With the modular approach, the options are limitless and you get to pick and choose which options pertain to your departments needs and which of those that don’t! The S4 has the following options currently available or in the development stages.

PASS – Heat/motion
PASS – either of the above models with “Telemetry” , allowing either 1 way
or bi-directional communications between the PASS alarms and the base station
